South Korean publisher Krafton announced today that the mobile release ofDark and Darkerwill be soft launching in Canada on Jul 28, 2025, before releasing globally later in the first half of this year. According to developer Bluehole, the mobile game is currently underground gameplay enhancements and the addition of more content based on user feedback from playtests conducted last year.

Some of the key changes toDark and Darker Mobileinclude adjustments to the “Darkswarm” system that acts as a zoning feature similar to safe zones in battle royale games, as well as giving players the freedom to explore a bit more and successfully escape. Current dungeon structures are also going to be changed to make party play more seamless as right now things can get a bit crowded easily.

Further changes include improvements to the UI to make things feel more native on mobile devices as well as some quality-of-life systems such as one that allows players to easily gauge the value of the resource and loot they’ve obtained.

Krafton also revealed thatDark and Darker Mobileis set to adopt a Seasonal Release system, adding new content such as dungeons and even classes with new seasons. Each season will feature a unique theme and objective and allow players to climb the ranks of leaderboards with each season while unlocking seasonal rewards for their achievements.

Canadian players interested in checking outDark and Darker Mobilewill be able to do so when the multiplayer dungeon crawler releases at midnight UTC on June 21, 2025. Players in other regions will have to wait patiently for Krafton to reveal their global release plans that is currently scheduled for later in the first half of this year.
