In a world made of cardboard…

Contest alert: Win a free copy ofCardLifefor Steam!

Our world is made up of atoms and molecules and organic stuff and it’s kind of stupid. Don’t believe me? Take one look at a blobfish and tell me that’s normal. It’s not.

But imagine if the world were made entirely of cardboard, and you had to use scissors to cut out your head and run around ripping things to cardboard shreds for supplies and materials to survive. Now, doesn’t that sound better?

InCardLife, you won’t have to imagine this world, because it already exists. Win yourself a free copy so you can join in! Just avoid paper cuts…

CardLifeis the new multiplayer open world game where everything is made of cardboard. Animals? Cardboard. Trees? Still cardboard. Even your face is cardboard! I’ll let developer Freejam tell you about it:

The ghost at the end of the hallway

CardLifeis an online science fantasy survival game. Play by yourself or with others as you explore a fully editable cardboard world. Mine for resources, fight fantastical creatures and bring your imagination to life as you draw everything you craft.

We like to think ofCardLifeas the world’s first survival game made entirely out of cardboard and our Connect The Dots customisation system is one of the most powerful in-game editors available in any online game. Players can draw everything from scratch freehand with the mouse, including their own player character, weapon, tools, buildings, and more.

Additional Features:

This game is honestly pretty cool looking, and is one of the few times I wish I had gotten into PCs as a kid. Someone draw a taco for me and use it as a weapon.

To enter to win, comment below telling us the first thing you’re going to draw (other than the taco, of course), and what you’re going to use it for. I’m drawing a shield using Sir Elton John’s head to help protect me from evildoers and bad music.

We have six Early Access keys to give out; winners will be drawn (teehee) Saturday, October 13. ensure you comment using a Dtoid account that has your current email address on file. If I can’t email you, you’ll have to use the Donnie Osmond shield I drew, which won’t help you much.

CardLifeis available now onSteam Early Access. Head over toPC Invasionfor more chances to win!
