Swing, spin, and… skateboard???
Some people instinctively kill all types of spiders, some go out of their way to catch and release them outside, and there’s probably a third type of folks who kind of just take stock of the critters, do a little “I see you” nod, and go about the rest of their day without even sweating it. Depending onwhere you fit inwith these tendencies, you may or may not be open toWebbed, a platformer-adventure gamecoming soonto PC. I think it’s super cute!
As the trailer shows,Webbedis releasing on September 9 acrossSteam,GOG, and theHumble Store. This spider can skateboard, wear a tophat, and yes, freely swing around.
More than that, there’s the potential to spin webbing for puzzle-platformer traversal purposes, which looks really cool. Those mechanics — and the personality of some of the other insects, like a dancing moth — seem like the main draw. That and the laser eyes.
