The success of Wasteland 2 is a big factor in the delay

Torment: Tides of Numenerais one of my most-wanted games in development, so it’s disappointing to hear that it will now be released in “late 2015.” The release date had already beenshifted to “early 2015” and now there will be at least another six months to wait to play the eagerly anticipated game from inXile Entertainment.

One of the main reasons for the delay is the continuing work on inXile’s previous Kickstarter project,Wasteland 2, which isundergoing regular updates and expansions.

Still, the good news is thatTides of Numenerahas been in small-scale development since the success of its Kickstarter last year. More than 80 percent of its budget is remaining, so he’s hoping production will ramp up soon and we’ll see more of the game. I’m not too fussed about the delay really; it’s not like I haven’t got plenty of games I want to play in 2014.
