Good to know, but dang

Blizzard is setting expectations for this year’s BlizzCon and if you’re aDiablofan, here’s the rub: “whileDiablowill be on the show floor, we won’t be making any newDiabloannouncements. There will be a time for that at some point in the future,” according to the company, “but that time is not now.”

TheDiabloteam added that “Patch 2.6.1is on the horizon. Looking beyond that, we’re hard at work on the future ofDiabloand exploring what’s next for the franchise. Please be patient.”

Admittedly, I’m a little surprised by this heads-up. I figured there’d at least be something small to talk about at BlizzCon in lieu of a major update or expansion. That said, I never got around toRise of the Necromancer, and I don’t know that I realistically ever will play it. I’m ready for the next game.

On that note, Blizzard iscurrently hiringforDiablo. Wonder what sort of wait we’re looking at here.
