And you spring chickens for whom 1997 seems like the “black-and-white” years, you’re in luck, as distributor Discotek Media has announced that it will be releasing all four chapters of the classic anime on Blu-ray this coming May, fully remastered and shining in the light of the full moon like never before.

As well as featuring sparkling new audio and video quality, (presented in HD for the first time), theNight Warriors: Darkstalkers RevengeBlu-ray will also sport newly corrected subtitles, (featuring both the characters’ Japanese and English name variants), Japanese/English voice tracks, an art gallery, trailers, and clean versions of the OVA’s intro/outro sequences — so you can enjoy Eikichi Yazawa’s “The Trouble Man” in all of its glory. The Blu-ray also comes housed invery attractive packaging.
