The Taken Kinghas brought an extra five million players toDestiny, boosting the number of registered players from 20 million to 25 million.
Activision confirmed the figures yesterday during its earnings report.
“Day-one downloads broke PlayStation records, day-one engagement saw the highest number of active players inDestiny’shistory, daily player engagement is now well above three hours per day and theDestinycommunity has climbed to over 25 million players,” said Activision.
The publisher also confirmed the sci-fi shooter has become the “most watched console game on Twitch.”
