Nothing is more versatile than the timeless greats of the role-playing genre. RPGs transport us to different worlds, giving us the chance to explore and shape a journey on our own terms. 2023 gave us some noteworthy adventures, with the likes ofBaldur’s Gate 3andFinal Fantasy XVIimmediately coming to mind. That said, one can only wonder what 2024 has in store for the genre. So, as we celebrate the titans of this year and look to the next, I’ve rounded up 10 RPGs that I would definitely keep watch on in 2024....

The “Arctic Strike” pack is out today and includes three new multiplayer maps, a new Guerrilla co-op level, the “Stockade” multiplayer mode, six new weapons, added achievements, and a raise in the level cap of ten. The name “Arctic Strike” is sort of misleading here, because you’d assume most (or all) of these levels would havesomethingto do with snow....

Along with featuring the mythical monster, this new DLC will contain a brand new selection of hospital in the “Point Mountains” region. These hospitals are home to 34 new region-specific illnesses and are decorated with a wide range of new, wintery, holiday-themed items. Some of the new illnesses include things like Aurora Snorealis, Cold Shoulder and Bard Flu....
